Devin Chin (they/he) is a composer, sound designer, jazz pianist, and teacher based in San Francisco.

Devin's career began as electronic artist Kolkian. Their music under this name found a wide audience in the Geometry Dash gaming community, where levels synced to their music have been downloaded over 1 million times. Their track "Sugarsnap" was also picked up by TheFatRat and released under the artist's label, The Arcadium.

Their digital fusion music has been featured in Snowdrop Festivals and other events by the label Infloresce Records. Devin's soundtrack releases have been described as "thoughtful, smart, and straight up fun"; "beautiful, sweet, and haunting"; and "vibe fr".

Devin is currently completing a Master of Music degree in Technology and Applied Composition at San Francisco Conservatory of Music. They have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Science from Cornell University, where they also performed in ensembles as a jazz pianist and worked on games as a composer and level designer. Devin is also a proud alumnus of the Walden School Young Musician’s Program for young composers.

Devin speaks English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Besides music and gaming, their interests include design, linguistics, and urbanism.
